Abstract

To so ton, ritem, melodija, dinamika, tempo, zvočna barva in harmonija. Podatki pa so bili pridobljeni s tehniko opazovanja z udeležbo. Rezultati so pokazali, da so otroci z dejavnostmi vključevanja inštrumenta cajon napredovali v razvoju ritmičnega posluha.

Secondary title: The integration of cajon into musical activities in the preschool period
Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with including cajon in musical activities. The introductory part presents the history of the instrument, its acoustic properties and use. It also provides insight into musical elements that are put into practice during musical activities. They include pitch, rhythm, melody, dynamics, tempo, timbre and harmony. The theoretical part of the thesis touches on didactic basics of music education in the preschool period. In this respect, it presents the fairy-tale with music, which links musical activities, such as performing, creating and listening. The empirical part of the thesis explores the effects of cajon on the development of rhythm ear in children and which are the advantages and disadvantages of cajon in music education in terms of methodology in music education. Another goal was to determine which activities would spark the children's interest in playing cajon. A total of 6 children aged from 5 to 6 years from the Ciciban kindergarten took part in the research. A case study constituted the basis for the research. A number of procedures were employed in this respect, i.e. participant observation, research journal, unstructured interviews. The data was acquired with the participant observation method. The results indicate that the children's rhythm ear improved after cajon was introduced into the activities.
