Abstract

V diplomskem delu je predstavljena prva pomoč pri osebah, ki so utrpele zlom kosti. Namen tega diplomskega dela je predstaviti ter opisati zlome, specifiko njihove oskrbe, jih razdeliti po telesnih regijah, predstaviti posebnosti in zaplete ter razlike med profesionalno in laično pomočjo. Pri pisanju diplomske naloge smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela. S pomočjo zbrane strokovne literature, ki je bila skrbno analizirana ter predelana smo najnovejša spoznanja prikazali v strukturni obliki. Predstavili smo vzroke za nastanek zlomov, različne mehanizme, ki vplivajo na nastanek poškodbe ter podrobneje opisali specifiko in oskrbo poškodovanca glede na mesto poškodbe. Ugotovili smo, da so zlomi ena izmed pogostejših poškodb, te pa se lahko pojavljajo v vseh starostnih obdobjih ne glede na spol. Zlomi se pogosteje pojavljajo pri osebah z osteoporotičnim obolenjem, pri otrocih, kjer so kosti mehkejše ter pri starostnikih, pri katerih so kosti šibkejše ter bolj toge. Poglavitni namen prve pomoči je pomoč nenadno oboleli ali poškodovani osebi, kjer laik zbere vse svoje znanje ter uporablja improvizirane metode dela.

Secondary abstract: The graduation thesis presents first aid for people who suffered bone fractures. The purpose of the graduation thesis is to present and describe fractures, the specifics of their treatment, to classify them into body regions and present the specifics, complications as well as differences between professional and layman help. The graduation thesis was written with the use of the descriptive method. The chosen professional literature, which was thoroughly analysed and studied, was used to show the newest findings in a structural manner. The thesis presents the reasons for the occurrence of fractures, various mechanisms which influence the occurrence of an injury and a detailed description of the specifics and treatment of the injured according to the injured part. We have found fractures to be one of the more common injuries which can occur in all age groups regardless of sex. Fractures are common in people with osteoporosis, children, where the bones are softer, and older people, where the bones are weaker and more rigid. The main purpose of first aid is to provide help to a person with a sudden illness or injury where a layman uses all their knowledge and improvised methods of work.
