Abstract
Najbolj osnovna funkcija vsakega satelita je komunikacija z zemeljsko postajo. Zahteva po prenosu velikih količin podatkov v čim krajšem času je pobuda in izziv vsakemu načrtovalcu komunikacijskih modulov. Prisotne so še dodatne zahteve po zmanjševanju velikosti in teže. V vesoljskih aplikacijah se je v zadnjem času uveljavila miniaturizacija satelitov, ki dosegajo podobne zmogljivosti kot njihovi večji predhodniki. Kljub temu da se velikost satelitov vztrajno zmanjšuje, pa so komunikacijski moduli ostali primerjalno veliki. Zato je izdelava kompaktnega komunikacijskega modula delujočega znotraj S-band frekvenčnega območja strokovni izziv. Razvoj slednjega je predstavljen v tem magistrskem delu.

Secondary abstract: |
One of the most fundamental functions of each satellite is its ability to communicate with the ground station. The demand for the transfer of ever greater amounts of data in shorter times presents a challenge for the developers of communication modules. In addition to the later further demands for reductions of size and weight, have been made clear. In the sector of space applications the miniaturization of satellites has been established, and their performances match those of their larger predecessors. Contrary to the steady reduction of satellite sizes the communication modules have stayed comparably large. Therefore the development of compact communication modules, operating within the S-band frequency range, presents a technical challenge. The later will be presented within the current work. |
