Abstract
Tema magistrskega dela je uporaba napovedovalnikov (orodij napovedovalne analitike) v kontrolingu. Namen dela je bil proučiti smotrnost uporabe orodij napovedovalne analitike v kontrolingu. Prikazati smo želeli pri katerih aktivnostih v kontrolingu lahko uporaba orodij napovedovalne analitike doprinese dodano vrednost.
Napovedovalna analitika je opredeljena kot skupek različnih tehnologij s katerimi se odkrivajo razmerja in vzorci znotraj velikih količin podatkov, ki predstavljajo novo znanje oziroma se jih uporablja za napovedovanje dogodkov in vedenj.
Najpomembnejše naloge kontrolerja so naloge povezane izvajanjem procesa in aktivnosti načrtovanja, naloge povezne z analiziranjem in nadziranjem poslovanja in naloge povezane z informiranjem. Najpomembnejše orodje kontrolerja, je njegov informacijski sistem, s katerim si zagotavlja podatke in informacije, ki jih potrebuje pri svojem delu. Kot najboljša rešitev na tem področju se je v zadnjem desetletju uveljavil sistem poslovne inteligence.
Cilj magistrskega dela v empiričnem delu je bil, da se na osnovi pridobljenih znanj oblikuje model uporabe orodij napovedovalne analitike v kontrolingu, ter da se le-ta tudi preizkusi v praksi. V zasnovanem modelu uporabe orodij napovedovalne analitike v kontrolingu smo povezali informacijske potrebe, ki se pojavljajo v kontrolingu z zmožnostjo zagotavljanja informacij, ki jih lahko nudi napovedovalna analitika. Sistematično smo predelali vse predstavljene skupine aktivnosti kontrolinga in iskali področja, kjer bi lahko z nalogami in tehnikami napovedovalne analitike prišli do podatkov, ki bi določene procese izboljšali. Kot takšni smo v modelu opredelili dve skupini aktivnosti kontrolinga in sicer načrtovanje in analiziranje.
Zasnovani model smo preizkusili v praksi in sicer smo uporabo orodja napovedovalne analitike SPSS Modeler preizkusili pri načrtovanju in analiziranju v kontrolingu Zavarovalnice Maribor d.d.

Master’s thesis topic is the utilization of Predictive Analytics tools in controlling. The main objective of the master’s thesis is to examine advisability of the use of Predictive Analytics tools in controlling. The emphasis was to point out at what activities of controlling can the use of Predictive Analytics tools provide added value.
Predictive analytics encompasses a variety of techniques which discover patterns and relations within a vast amount of data representing the knowledge that enables prediction of certain events or manners.
The most important tasks of the controller are planning, analysing and controlling business operations as well as informing. The most important tool of controller is his information system which provides data and information that he needs to perform his work in a proper way. Business intelligence has established itself as the best solution in this area in the last decade.
The main objective of the master’s thesis empirical part is to create a model for the utilization of Predictive Analytics tools in controlling based on gained knowledge and to test the model in practice. In the model we have linked the informational needs of controlling with the ability of predictive analytics to provide information. We have systematically studied all the activities of controlling and searched for areas in which we could use the tasks and techniques of predictive analytics to obtain data which could improve certain processes. In the model we have identified planning and analysing as significant activities where the use of predictive analytics tools can provide added value.
Designed model was tested in practice in the controlling of company Zavarovalnica Maribor d.d. We tested the model with the use of predictive analytics software tools SPSS Modeler at planning and analysing. |
