diplomsko delo

Abstract

Secondary title: TELESCOPE CONTROL WITH RASPBERRY IP
Secondary abstract: This graduation thesis discusses Raspberry Pi computer as a telescope controller. The existing solutions that can be found on the Internet present Raspberry Pi only as a communications agent between the motorized telescope and the final user. The graduation thesis researches the use of the Raspberry Pi computer in the role of a controller that - based on the dedicated circuit - controls two motors that steer the telescope tube. Based on the captured picture, the controller independently calculates the movement of celestial objects and adapts the position of the telescope if so desired. The purpose is to demonstrate that even a cheap gadget like this, if combined with a dedicated circuit, can be used to successfully control somewhat larger objects and in sufficient time perform even more complex tasks.
