Abstract

Secondary title: OPERATION OF THE SLOVENIAN ELECTRICAL ENERGY MARKET
Secondary abstract: This diploma work describes the inner operation of the electricity market in Slovenia, its specificity and development in the years after market liberalization. In the first part, the study provides the reasons that led to drastic changes in aforementioned field and advantages that those changes brought. Electrical energy market represents a dynamic industry segment. The reasons are relative short time of exist, while we are still learning how to improve it. In that sense, all major changes that happened in aforementioned field are part of the presented diploma work. Diploma work, follows the physical flow of electrical current from the power plants, trough the transmission and distribution grid all the way to the consumers, while financial flow is described, as well. In the last part the current state and achieving of the main goals are presented through the numerical example.
