(diplomsko delo)

Abstract

Secondary abstract: Violence at workplace is becoming a common social problem today. In health care field we tend to find different aspects of violence: victims, potential aggressors and as experts who will respond responsively facing given victim situations. Nurses in operating room may find their daily stressors in stressful working environment, type of work and work hierarchy. Violence in surgery can be divided in two types, horizontal and vertical. There are many different types of violence and all them effect victim's quality of life. The graduation thesis consists of theoretical and empirical parts. With our research we found and pointed at awareness of mobbing in our personell at their workplace. Research was based on quantitative methodology. For data collection was used questionnaire. The participans of survey working in a general hospital in operating rooms and emergency department. We have found violence in operating room. Employees are aware of the measures at the onset of mobbing, but not with prevention. The information is lacking, especially in the field of regulation. The solving of difficulties is limited to resolving problems, when they do occur. There is not enough preventive measures. In the prevention of mobbing play a crucial role each nurse in operating room. Only good understanding and recognition of the phenomena of violence in the operating room will help in solving and resolving the problem of mobbing and to the properand and effective measures.
