Abstract

Naloga obravnava spremembo procesa poročanja o pokalkulacijah v konkretnem podjetju Stilles, d. o. o, Sevnica, ki se pretežno ukvarja s hotelskim inženiringom. Podan je pregled primerov iz drugih industrijskih panog, ki ravno tako uporabljajo pokalkulacije za pridobitev pravih podatkov o porabi virov za projekte. Kratko je predstavljeno konkretno podjetje iz lesnopredelovalne industrije. Razvit je model procesa od ideje do zaključka projekta. Podan je kratek pregled značilnosti podatkovnih skladišč. Opisana je izboljšava procesa pokalkulacij, ki obsega postopek ETL, testiranje podatkovnega skladišča in uvedbo sprememb v podjetje. Spremenjen način izdelave pokalkulacij kaže, da je proces hitrejši, zahteva manj človeškega napora in da so pridobljeni podatki natančnejši. Glavna slabost izboljšanega procesa pa je, da kljub velikemu napredku še vedno ni možno povezati vseh MS Excelovih tabel v podatkovno skladišče.

Secondary abstract:	This diploma thesis deals with changes in the process of cost analysis reporting in the company Stilles, d. o. o., Sevnica whose main activity is hotel engineering. Given is a review of the examples from other industries which are also using cost analyses in order to acquire the right information about the consumption of resources for their projects. Included is also a short presentation of the company from the wood-processing industry. A model of the process from the idea to the termination of the project has been developed. Moreover, also a short review of the data warehouses characteristics is given. Described is the improvement of the cost analysis process which includes the ETL process, data warehouse testing and introduction of changes in the company. The results show that the amended cost analysis process is faster, it takes less human effort and that the data obtained is more exact. The main weakness of the improved process is that despite the significant progress it is still not possible to connect all the MS Excel spreadsheets into one data warehouse.
