Predlog učinkovitejšega skladiščenja v podjetju Herz, d. d.

Abstract

V diplomskem delu je na kratko predstavljeno skladiščenje v podjetju Herz, d. d. Izpostavimo problem, s katerim se soočajo v podjetju, opredelimo uporabljene metode svojega raziskovanja ter predstavimo svoj cilj. Nadalje definiramo skladiščni prostor ter opišemo tok informacij, ki potekajo med procesom skladiščenja. Opišemo tudi skladiščne procese in jih primerjamo s skladiščnimi procesi v podjetju Herz, d. d. V tretjem delu s pomočjo vzorčno-posledičnega diagrama izpostavimo štiri ključne elemente skladiščnega procesa: transport, informacijsko podporo, delavce in prostor. Pri vsakem izpostavimo problem in posledico ter dodamo rešitev. Četrto poglavje je ključno poglavje diplomskega dela. Osredotočimo se na gradnjo novega centralnega skladišča in določimo novo lokacijo v neposredni bližini podjetja. Prikažemo izračun za investicijo gradnje skladišča in izračunamo dobo odplačila. Ob vsem tem skušamo dokazati, da je investicija z vseh vidikov sprejemljiva, izjemno uspešna in bi podjetju zagotavljala rast in razvoj. Za zaključek izpostavimo še prednosti in slabosti novega skladišča.

Secondary title:	Proposal for more efficient warehousing in company Herz d.d.
Secondary abstract:	The thesis briefly presents storage in the company Herz, JSC. We set out the problem, faced by the company, define the methods used in our research and presented our goal. Further on, we define a storage area and describe the flow of information that take place during the process of storage. We also describe storage processes and compare them with the storage processes in the company Herz, JSC. In the third part we point out four key elements of the storage: transportation, IT support, staff and space. They are depicted in the causal-consequent diagram. With every element we point out the problem and its consequence, and add the solution. The fourth chapter is the key chapter of the thesis. We focus on the construction of a new central warehouse and determine the new location in the immediate vicinity of the company. We show the calculation for the investment of building the warehouse and calculate the repayment period. Besides all this we try to prove that the investment is acceptable in all respects and highly successful. It would ensure the growth and development of the company. In the conclusion we also point out advantages and disadvantages of the new warehouse.
