| Secondary abstract: | The paper problematizes the methods delineated by the term "spatial turn," assessing its innovative insights but also its limitations. The first part theoretically reflects on the problem from the perspective of discourse theories developed by Mikhail Bakhtin and Michel Foucault and Charles S. Peirce's semiotics; the second part considers the semiotic aspect of the object of the new media by looking at a number of experimental projects in the narrativization of virtual spaces. |
