Abstract

Medmeti lahko motivirajo tudi druge besedne vrste in tvorijo obsežnejše besedne družine, zlasti zaradi sistemske tvorbe izmedmetnih glagolov, ki po predvidljivih vzorcih svoje besedne vrste producirajo nadaljnje višjestopenjske tvorjenke, kot je bilo prikazano z besednimi družinami medmetov kvak, jav, štop, put, čav.

Secondary abstract: Interjections can serve as a base for the formation of other word categories and can thus create extensive word families. The most common word-formational process involved here is the systematic formation of interjectional verbs. This process follows predictable patterns in the creation of higher-degree formations, as illustrated by the word families of the interjections kvak 'croak', jav 'ouch', štop 'stop', put 'come', čav 'bye'.
