Secondary abstract: | Diploma thesis presents hydrogen as potential alternative fuel and possibilities of use in internal combustion engines. AVL Boost is used for numerical simulation of a Honda D16Z6 engine model. Selected model is tested running with gasoline and with hydrogen. The results of both regimes are compared between each other in power, torque and efficiency. Comparison proves possibility of hydrogen use in internal combustion engines although certain technical limitations need to be solved first. |
