Abstract

Eden najpomembnejših procesov v procesni industriji je mešanje, bodisi tekočin bodisi nizko- in visoko viskoznih snovi ali pa mešanje sipkih snovi med seboj brez tekoče faze. Predvsem slednje področje je slabše raziskano, zato je le-to tudi predmet tega diplomskega dela. V našem eksperimentu se je mešanje izvajalo s pomočjo obstoječe mešalne naprave, dveh izdelanih vijačnih mešal in s pomočjo osebnega računalnika ter programske opreme LabVIEW. Meritve mešanja delcev so pokazale, da je za mešanje različnih velikosti sipkih delcev z različno velikostjo mešal potrebna tudi različna mešalna moč.

Secondary abstract: One of the most important processes in the process industry is mixing, whether of liquids or low- and high-viscid substances, or the mixing of fine substances without the liquid phase. The process of fine substance mixing without the liquid phase is poorly researched, thus used as the subject of this diploma work. In the experiment, the mixing was carried out with the help of a mixing device, two build helical mixers, and a personal computer using the software LabVIEW. The measurements of the particle mixing showed that it is necessary to use different mixing power for the mixing of fine particles of different sizes with different mixer sizes.
