Abstract
V diplomskem delu je opisano delovanje elektrolizne celice v odvisnosti od zarez v anodi. Predvsem smo se osredotočili na anodo s tremi zarezami, za katero smo izdelali geometrijski model in izvedli simulacije. Na začetku je predstavljena zgodovina aluminija. V nadaljevanju spoznamo osnovne elemente za pridobivanje aluminija in podrobno dogajanje v sami elektrolizni celici. Rezultati simulacij so bili zelo pozitivni, saj smo prišli do spoznanj, da lahko sprememba mehanske strukture anode vpliva tako na samo delovanje elektrolizne celice kot tudi na njeno stabilnost in izkoristek električnega toka.

The thesis describes the operation of the electrolysis cell depending on the slots in the anode. Mainly we focused on the anode with three notches, for which we made geometric model and performed simulation. At the beginning it is presented the history of aluminium and further we are known with basic elements for production of aluminium and with detailed events inside an electrolysis celll. The simulation results were very positive, as we have come to the conclusion, that a change in the mechanical structure of the anode also affects the operation of the electrolysis cell, as well as its stability and efficiency of the electric current. |
