Abstract
Raziskovanje zgodovinskih objektov zahteva čas in finančna sredstva.

Efective approach to the reconstruction of historical buildings with integrated technology of knowledge management |
Secondary abstract: |
Renovation of historic buildings for construction engineers does not have a special pleasure and challenge. Perhaps is the reason of this that the planning of reconstruction projects does not have enough support from investors. Exploring historic buildings requires time and money. The reconstruction project is different from the project of new construction and it based on the input data as the results of investigation existing facilities. If the input data are not correct, then the research of the object is transfer to the execution stage, causing a risk to the investor and the disturbances in the renovation project. Renovation project usually begins with an exploration of the existing building and searching of archives literature. The problem occurs when the archive data are not available. The key question that arises in this, is how from available resources and data for the historic buildings, predict the characteristics of the facilities for which there are no available resources. Based on analysis of literature, building legislation and plans for historic buildings we have developed a relational database to built a predictive model for random objects. The results of the forecast have been satisfactory. We developed also relevant ontologies and acquired new knowledge about characteristics of historic buildings with the method of artificial intelligence, especially with decision trees. We have included also external participants. Based on the game theory, we explained which parameters are decisive, for successful support of renovation projects. In this doctoral dissertation is presented a new model for an effective approach to the reconstruction of historic buildings with the integrated technology of knowledge management. It represents a new approach in the process of building renovation projects. With the successful developments of ontologies and by using the acquisition of knowledge from data and data mining, we could provide better support for those who need such knowledge. |
