Abstract

Kakovost, beseda in pojem, s svojo implementacijo v zdravstveni sistem predstavlja gradnik oblikovanja zdravstvene oskrbe na vseh nivojih zdravstvenega varstva ter vzpodbuja zdravstvene ustanove v Sloveniji k oblikovanju in vpeljavi učinkovitega sistema vodenja kakovosti. Splošna bolnišnica Jesenice je zdravstvena ustanova, ki sistemsko prepoznava, oblikuje in opredeljuje priložnosti za izboljšave ter si prizadeva in stremi k stalnemu izboljševanju in zagotavljanju zdravstvene oskrbe pacientov. Bolnišnica ima od leta 2009 vpeljan sistem vodenja kakovosti po standardu kakovosti ISO 9001:2008, leta 2011 pa je sistem obstoječega vodenja kakovosti nadgradila s pridobitvijo mednarodno priznane zdravstvene akreditacije Det Norske Veritas. Uvedba sistema vodenja kakovosti je na ravni celotne bolnišnice pozitivno vplivala na izboljšavo izvedbe zdravstvenih storitev, tudi fizioterapevtskih, tako na primarni kot sekundarni ravni. Tako fizioterapevti kot tudi uporabniki storitev v obdobju po vpeljavi sistema vodenja kakovosti v bolnišnico, prepoznavajo pozitivne učinke na kakovost in varnost izvedbe fizioterapevtskih obravnav. Poudariti je potrebno, da do sedaj spremembe uvajanja in izvajanja sistema vodenja kakovosti niso bile ustrezno opredeljene, analizirane in ovrednotene z vidika vpliva na kakovost fizioterapevtskih storitev. Z raziskavo smo ugotovili visoko osredotočenost in razumevanje zaposlenih v pojmovanju kakovosti ter zavedanja pomena varnih obravnav. Sistemska analiza podatkov, pridobljenih iz anketiranj v preteklih letnih intervalih, pa je potrdila tudi predvidevanja o prepoznavanju izboljšav v izvedbi fizioterapevtske obravnave s strani uporabnikov fizioterapevtskih storitev.

Secondary abstract: Quality in its essence and from the perspective of the implementation in the health care system represents a building block of health care at all levels. Accordingly, it is considered as an encouragement for Slovenian health care institutions to develop and implement an effective quality management system. General Hospital Jesenice is a medical institution that systematically identifies, forms and defines the improvement opportunities. It seeks and strives for continuous improvement and health care assurance for the patients. Since 2009 the hospital has adopted quality management system in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008. In 2011, the existing quality management system was upgraded with the internationally renowned health care accreditation Det Norske Veritas. The implementation of the quality system has had a positive impact on the performance of health services in the entire institution, including physiotherapy at both primary and secondary level. Since the implementation of the quality management system in the hospital, physiotherapists as well as users of the services have recognized positive effects on the quality and safety performance of physiotherapy treatment. It should be emphasized that until now the changes in deployment and implementation of the quality management system were not properly defined, analyzed and evaluated in terms of the impact on the quality of physiotherapy services. The research has shown a high level of the employee’s focus and understanding towards the concept of quality and awareness of the importance of safe treatments. Survey results obtained in previous years have also confirmed the prediction regarding the identification of the improvements within the physiotherapy treatment based upon the users of physiotherapy services.
