Abstract

Število uporabnikov mobilnih naprav se iz leta v leto povečuje. Med delovno aktivnim prebivalstvom redko najdemo koga, ki ne uporablja pametnega ali pa vsaj preprostega mobilnega telefona. Mobilna naprava danes nudi skoraj vse, kar nudi stacionarni računalnik. Lahko jo povežemo z internetom in uporabljamo številne aplikacije - programe. Nekatere aplikacije so že naložene ob nakupu, druge pa lahko naložimo v obliki brezplačnih ali plačljivih različic z uporabo mobilne trgovine. Uporaba mobilnih naprav se je v družbi močno razširila, uporabljajo jih že celo otroci. Ugotavljamo pa, da v osnovnih in srednjih šolah učitelji pogosto ne dovoljujejo uporabe mobilnih telefonov ali jo celo prepovedujejo zaradi motenja pedagoškega procesa in zlorabe zasebnosti (Koložvari, 2008). V magistrskem delu smo se osredotočili na uporabo mobilnih naprav v izobraževanju. Odgovorili smo na vprašanje, ali je uporaba mobilnih naprav v pedagoškem procesu za pomoč pri učenju s pomočjo hitrega dostopa do multimedijskih gradiv, ki pripomorejo k lažjemu dojemanju snovi in nazornejši predstavi učencev, smiselna. Ugotoviti smo želeli tudi, kdaj oziroma kako mobilne naprave uporabljati, in prikazati, kako njihova uporaba izboljša pedagoški proces ter kako vpliva na učence. Cilj magistrskega dela je ugotoviti prednosti in težave uporabe pametnih mobilnih telefonov v izobraževanju, identificirati dejavnike, ki povečujejo didaktično vrednost mobilnih naprav, in na podlagi zbranih podatkov, analiz in ugotovitev pripraviti predloge za učinkovito uporabo pametnih mobilnih telefonov in ostalih mobilnih naprav v izobraževanju.

Secondary abstract: The number of mobile device users is increasing from year to year. Among the working population we rarely find someone who is not using a smartphone or at least a simple mobile phone. Today, mobile devices offer almost everything that stationary computers do. We can establish an Internet connection and use a variety of applications - programs. Some applications are already preloaded, while others may be uploaded as paid or free versions, using mobile shops. The usage of mobile devices in the community has greatly expanded. Even children are using them. However, we find that in primary and secondary schools, teachers often do not allow or even prohibit the use of mobile phones due to interference with the educational process and abuse of privacy (Koložvari, 2008). In this master's thesis we focused on the usage of mobile devices in education. We answered the question whether the usage of mobile devices in teaching process, as an aid to learning through quick access to multimedia materials that helps learners to comprehend the topics more easily and have an illustrative perception, is reasonable. Furthermore, we also wanted to determine when or how smartphones are used by students, to demonstrate how the usage of mobile devices improves pedagogical process and how it affects all those involved in the educational process. The main objective of the master's thesis is to determine advantages and disadvantages of the usage of smartphones in education, to identify the factors that increase the educational value of mobile devices, and on the basis of the collected data, analysis and conclusions, deliver proposals for the effective use of smartphones and other mobile devices in education.
