Abstract

Secondary title: MAGNETIC ADJUSTMENT OF FI RELAYS
Secondary abstract: In present master thesis magnetic circumstances are described and analyzed using finite element method. Design and launch of complete FI relay adjustment system are determined since FI relays used in residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs) and residual current circuit breakers with overcurrent, differential and short circuit protection (RCBOs) are an integral part of ETI company product assortment. The reliability of differential protection components in both types of residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs and RCBOs) is greatly affected by the quality of the tripping relay production and adjustment. Only technologically faultless and appropriately adjusted relays ensure reliable and safe operation of RCCBs and RCBOs. Present thesis describes individual components of the system, introduces implementation and simulation results with appropriate software and establishes procedure for automation of the system including automation elements.
