Abstract
Namen magistrske naloge je določitev ostankov izbranih pesticidov v ribah in školjkah.
Pesticidi se uporabljajo za uničenje ali preprečevanje delovanja različnih skupin organizmov. Vodno okolje je ogroženo zaradi kemičnega onesnaženja površinskih voda. Povzroča akutno in kronično toksičnost vodnih organizmov. Akumulacija onesnaževal v določenih ekosistemih, ogroža zdravje ljudi. Kemično onesnaženje vpliva tudi na izgubo biotske večvrstnosti in habitatov [1].
Glede na strupenost fitofarmacevtskih sredstev, je potreben razvoj analiznih postopkov za določevanje vsebnosti ostankov različnih pesticidov v hrani in okolju. Zaradi velikega pritiska javnosti obstajajo strogi predpisi upravnih in zakonodajnih organov [2].
Številni pesticidi so sintetizirani in testirani, glede na njihovo biološko učinkovitost. Uporaba pesticidov/biocidov velikokrat povzroča zmanjšanje biološke raznovrstnosti, kar direktno vpliva na živalske in rastlinske vrste in na mikrofloro [2].
Ostanke izbranih pesticidov v ribah in školjkah smo določili s pomočjo plinske kromatografije in masne spektometrije (GC/MS). Pesticidi, ki smo jih določali so aklonifen, bifenoks, cibutrin (Irgarol 1051), cipermetrin, diklorfos, dikofol, kvinoksifen in terbutrin. Kromatogrami so bili posneti z metodo izbranih ionov (SIM – selected ion monitoring). Uporabili smo interne standarde alfa-HCH-D6 in fenantren-D10.

The aim of masters thesis is to determine the pesticide residues in fish and molluscs. Pesticides are chemicals used for destroying or interfering with actions of various pests. Chemical pollution of surface waters poses a threat to water organisms by acute and chronic toxicity, accumulation of pollutants in ecosystems and can also pose a threat to human health. Chemical pollution also causes a loss of habitats and biodiversity [1].
Because of toxicity of pesticides, there is a need for development of analytical methods to determine the levels of pesticide residues in food and environment. Due to the public opinion a strict legislation is regulating this field [2].
There are many pesticides that have been synthesized and tested for their biological efficiency. The use of pesticides leads to diminishing biodiversity, which directly influences both plant and animal species and microflora [2].
Gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) was used for determination of pesticide residues in fish and molluscs. Selected ion monitoring (SIM) was used for quantitation. Two internal standards were also used (alfa-HCH-D6 and phenanthrene-D10). |
