Abstract

V magistrskem delu smo s pomočjo dostopnih virov prikazali trende kriminalitete v Sloveniji in raziskali gibanje le-teh. Za primerjavo smo izbrali kazniva dejanja zoper življenje in telo, zoper spolno nedotakljivost, zoper zakonsko zvezo, družino in otroke, zoper premoženje, mladoletniško, organizirano, gospodarsko in računalniško kriminaliteto in kazniva dejanja zlorabe prepovedanih drog. Podatke o trendih smo tabelarno in grafično predstavili in jih interpretirali. Rezultati analize statističnih podatkov policije so pokazali naraščanje števila kaznivih dejanj v analiziranem obdobju 2008-2013.

Secondary title: TRENDS OF CRIMINAL OFFENCES IN SLOVENIA
Secondary abstract: In this Master's thesis we used available resources to show trends in crime in Slovenia and study the movement thereof. Apart from the introduction, the work includes several chapters. The first theoretical part describes some basic concepts of crime and criminology, the definition of criminal behavior, the theories of individual deviance, crime measurement methods, factors of crime and methods of crime prevention. In the second empirical part of the Master's thesis, trends in crime in Slovenia from 2008 to 2013 were shown. We presented the movement of criminality by individual offenses and Slovenian regions. The lessons that we have shown in this thesis were gained mainly from sources located on the website of the Slovenian police. We have compared crimes against the person, against sexual inviolability, against marriage, family and children, against property, juvenile, organized, economic and computer crime and drug abuse. The data on trends was presented via tables and graphs and interpreted. The results of the analysis of police statistics showed a rise in the number of crimes during the analysis period 2008-2013. The number of crimes of economic and organized crime, which in these years has grown significantly, stand out especially. We have also found that the period of the so-called recession noted an increase in recorded crimes compared to the period prior to 2008. By calculating a linear trend we predicted the extent of all crimes in 2014 in Slovenia. Via a time trend we have also tested the existence of trends in crime of all crimes in the period from 2008 to 2013.
