Abstract

Namen diplomskega dela z naslovom Vloga okolja pri razvoju senzomotorike je ugotoviti, kakšno vlogo ima okolje pri razvoju senzomotorike otroka. Diplomsko delo je teoretično, zato je bila uporabljena deskriptivna metoda pedagoškega raziskovanja, saj smo zastavljen problem proučevali s pomočjo opisovanja dejstev, odnosov in procesov. Preko navedene metode pedagoškega raziskovanja smo prišli do naslednjih ugotovitev: Starši so eden izmed najpomembnejših dejavnikov okolja pri senzomotoričnem razvoju otroka. Njihova naloga je otroku zagotoviti možnost spoznavanja, raziskovanja in odkrivanja sveta. Prav tako mu morajo nuditi pozitivno in bogato izkušenjsko okolje, hkrati pa predstavljati gibalno aktivnega človeka, od katerega bo otrok lahko prevzel aktivni način življenja in zanimanje za šport. Ugotovili smo, da so gibalne izkušnje, ki jih otrok pridobi v času otroštva, ključnega pomena za njegov nadaljnji celostni razvoj. So osnova za usvajanje novih, zahtevnejših gibalnih nalog in jih je kasneje težko, celo nemogoče nadoknaditi. Prve gibalne izkušnje, ki jih otrok pridobi, morajo biti pozitivne in prijetne, drugače imajo lahko velike negativne posledice kasneje v odraslosti. Zelo pomembno vlogo pri senzomotoričnem razvoju otroka ima tudi vzgojitelj, saj večina otrok preživi svoj budni del dneva v vrtcu. Vzgojitelj mora otrokom s svojim strokovnim, načrtovanim in kakovostnim delom ponuditi prijetne, zabavne in zanimive gibalno/športne dejavnosti ter hkrati zagotoviti pridobivanje pozitivnih izkušenj tudi na vseh ostalih področjih.

Secondary abstract: The purpose of this thesis titled The role of environment in sensorimotor development is to find out what the role of environment in a child's sensorimotor development is. The thesis is theoretical, so we used a descriptive method of pedagogic research, because we studied the issue by describing facts, relationships and processes. We reached the following conclusions: parents are one of the most important environmental factors of a child's sensorimotor development. Their task is to give a child the opportunity to get to know, explore and discover the world. They also need to provide a positive environment rich with opportunities for new experience, and at the same time be physically active people so that a child can adopt an active lifestyle and interest in sports. We've established that motor experience a child receives in childhood is crucial for his further overall development. This experience is a foundation on which a child adopts new, more difficult motor tasks, and it is very hard or even impossible to make up for later in life. Child's first motor experience must be positive and pleasant, or they can have negative consequences later in adulthood. Another very important role in a sensorimotor development of a child plays the pre-school teacher, because a child spends most of his awake hours in the kindergarten. The teacher must use his expert, planned and quality work to offer children pleasant, exciting and interesting motor/sport activities and to give them positive experience in all other areas.
