Abstract
Metodologija raziskovanja: Uporabili smo deskriptivno in kvantitativno metodo dela.

The study included 40 randomly selected patients with atrial fibrillation who are attending cardiology clinic UKC Maribor.
Results: 45 % of patients do not drink alcohol. 93 % of patients do not smoke. 93 % of patients eat fruit and vegetables every day. 57 % of patients eat meat and meat products 2 to 3 times per week. 50 % of patients are physically active every day, which shows that this is a quite active group population. 67 % of patients have 3 to 4 meals a day, which is not enough, but is still acceptable.
Conclusion: We concluded that patients with atrial fibrillation, who answered our questionnaire, are largely aware of how important a healthy lifestyle is for their health. In addition we can say that the nurses have very important role in health related educational work. |
