Abstract

Secondary abstract: The thesis highlights the impact of the financial and economic crisis on the company Konica Minolta Slovenia, d.o.o. In 2009, the sale dropped in all segments from printers to multifunctional devices. As a result, the company began to think how to take an advantage of the financial and economic crisis in the context of comprehensive supply and improved company's distribution channels. With respect to printing and document management, the company developed a new approach called Optimized Print Services. Based on done analysis of current situation of reproductions of documents within companies, sales consultants proposed optimized solutions that enabled additional functionalities as scanning, network printing, control over printing, streamlining businesses and ensuring business continuity. The proposed solution represents for the customer improved, low-cost and more transparent service and a reduced burden for internal supporting departments. The new approach has required the reorganization of the Konica Minolta Slovenia, d.o.o, and the acquisition of new knowledge and skills in information technology, software and consulting. Direct sales was no longer under the authority of a single sales consultant, but it became the product of the entire team of experts. Today we can say that the OPS approach has significantly increased the number of sold A3 color devices, software for controlling and additional services, which is reflected in an higher sales, revenue growth and, consequently, a larger market share of Konica Minolta Slovenia, d.o.o..
