Abstract

V današnjem življenju doživljamo stres na vsakem koraku. Ni nujno, da je stres samo negativen, lahko ga doživljamo kot pozitivnega in na nas vpliva zelo blagodejno. Kako bomo sprejemali stres v naša življenja, kako se bomo z njim spoprijemali in ga premagovali, je veliko odvisno od nas samih. Eni ga sprejemajo z neko mero pozitivizma, drugi čisto obratno. Stres je in še bo prisoten v našem življenju. V diplomski nalogi smo z vidika managementa podrobneje proučevali stres na delovnem mestu, ki danes predstavlja velik problem tako za zaposlene kot za organizacijo. V teoretičnem delu se bomo osredotočili na definicijo stresa, spoznali vrste stresa in načine, kako se spoprijemati s stresom na delovnem mestu in kako z njegovimi posledicami. Nato bomo opisali, kako lahko premagujemo stres na delovnem mestu na ravni posameznika in organizacije in kakšno vlogo ima pri tem management. V empiričnem delu se bomo osredotočili na raziskavo, ki smo jo s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika izvedli v organizaciji »X«. Na osnovi rezultatov ankete smo lahko podali ustrezne rešitve in predlagali izboljšave za zaposlene in organizacijo »X«.

Secondary abstract: In today’s life, we are confronted with stressful moments everywhere. Stress is not necessary all negative though. It can be experienced as positive and affects us very soothing. A lot depends on us, how we will cope with it. Someone will accept it with a certain degree of positivism, the other one quite vice versa. Stress is and will be present in our lives. In my diploma I have, in terms of management, further studied workplace stress, which today represents a big problem for employees and for the organizations. In the theoretical part I have focused on what stress is, types of stress and how to grapple with stress in the workplace and its consequences. Then, I will describe how to overcome stress at work on the personal level and on the level of the organization and what management has to do with it. In the empirical part I have focused on the study, which was concluded with the help of the questionnaire in the “X” organization. Based on the results of the survey I will be able to give appropriate solutions and propose improvements for the employees and the »X« organization.
