Abstract

Še vedno obstajajo odprta vprašanja, kaj natančno je management. Največkrat je opredeljen kot skupek funkcij, ki so načrtovanje, organiziranje, usmerjanje in nadziranje. Pojavlja se v vsaki organizaciji, ki ima svoje značilnosti, katere vplivajo na managerje in ostale zaposlene. Ključnega pomena za doseganje ciljev je tudi vloga managerjev in njihove osebnostne značilnosti ter sposobnosti in spretnosti. Manager mora imeti motivacijsko pozitivni vpliv na zaposlene. Vodenje je tudi eden poglavitnih dejavnikov oziroma proces vplivanja, ki ima učinke na sodelavce, izbiro ciljnih skupin in motiviranost. Filozofija vodenja se razlikuje od države do države ter od podjetja do podjetja. Vodja lahko vpliva na zaposlene za učinkovito doseganje poslovnih ciljev, če upošteva določena načela. Na osnovi teoretičnih spoznanj pa so se oblikovali tudi modeli vodenja. Stil vodenja se nanaša na določen vzorec vedenja, ki ga uporablja vodja. Za podjetja je ključnega pomena uspešen vodja, ki je motiviran ter vse potrebno znanje, ki ga zna uporabiti za dosego načrtovanega cilja.

Secondary abstract: The question as to what exactly is management still remains open. It is most often defined as a set of functions, such as planning, organizing, directing and supervising. It appears in every organization, which has its own characteristics that influence managers and other employees. Of key importance for achieving objectives is also the role of managers, their personality traits, abilities and skills. A manager must have a positive motivational influence on employees. Leadership is also one of the main factors or an influence process which affects co-workers, the choice of target groups and motivation. The philosophy of leadership differs from country to country and from company to company. A leader can influence employees to efficiently achieve business objectives, if he/she abides by specific principles. Based on theoretical findings, leadership models have been developed. A leadership style refers to a specific behavior pattern exhibited by the leader. Of key importance to a company are a successful leader, who is motivated, and all the required knowledge, which the leader is capable of using to achieve the planned objective.
