Abstract

Magistrsko delo predstavlja princip delovanja avtomatske identifikacije pošiljk v poštno logističnem sistemu. Avtomatska identifikacija služi temu, da se povečata hitrost in kakovost ter da se obseg ročnega dela zmanjša na minimum. Avtomatsko identifikacijo pošiljk bi se dalo izboljšati, zato magistrsko delo podaja predlog novih rešitev na področju identifikacije in sledenja pošiljk. Namen tega magistrskega dela je podati predlog uvedbe vključitve RFID sistema za identifikacijo pošiljk, ki bo pripomogel k boljši kakovosti usmerjanja pošiljk v poštno logističnem sistemu, hkrati pa podati tudi predlog vključitve takšnega sistema, ki bi služil tudi kot nosilec informacij za sledenje pošiljk in evidentiranje zabojnikov kot prevoznih enot.

Secondary abstract: The work in the present thesis concerns the method of automatic consignement identification in the postal logistic system. Automatic identification serves the purpose of increasing the speed and quality and reduce the amount of manual labour to minimum. Automatic identification and tracking can be improved, however, and the present thesis gives new suggestions on how this could be done. The aim of the present thesis is to propose a method for the introduction of the RFID technology for item identification in a postal logistic system, where it could contribute toward better item routing and play the role of an infotmation carrier for Track&Trace sistem of items and containers.
