Abstract

Opisani so sestavi in zlitine, kristalne strukture, postopki izdelave in ocene svetovne porabe mehko magnetnih materialov.

Secondary title: DETERMINATING MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF CORES OF DIFFERENTIAL TRANSFORMERS
Secondary abstract: In the dissertation we investigated soft magnetic materials which are used for manufacturing transformer cores in circuit breakers on residual current and current methods for determining the magnetic properties of our cores. It describes the composition and alloys, crystal structures, manufacturing processes and includes an assessment of the global consumption of soft magnetic materials. Special soft magnetic materials, wich are suitable for the production of the transformer cores for circuit breakers, are investigated. These materials must have an extremely narrow hysteresis loop, which must at the same time be linear over a wide range and have as high a magnetic flux density as possible. Nowadays, circuit breakers on residual current require great operational reliability, operating at the lowest possible value of residual current and a small volume at a reasonable price. To ensure the first three requirements it is necessary to verify transformer core magnetic properties before the installation. In the laboratory of Applied Electromagnetics, we performed measurements of the magnetic properties using two methods on a large number of different samples. Based on the obtained results, we analyzed magnetic properties of our transformer cores as well as the appropriateness of the measurement methods.
