Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo obravnavali organizacijsko kulturo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih v izbranem podjetju X. Želeli smo ugotoviti tip organizacijske kulture, ki je najbolj značilen za to podjetje. Ter stanje pri zaposlenih ali so zadovoljni s trenutno kulturo organizacije in kakšno bi si želeli v prihodnje. Organizacijska kultura vključno z poslanstvom in vizijo igra pomembno vlogo pri oblikovanju strategij podjetja. Zaposleni so med seboj povezani, imajo dodatno motivacijo in spodbudo za boljše delo, kar privede do uspešnosti podjetja. Vsebinski pomen organizacijske kulture so norme in vrednote podjetja, iz katerih je viden način ravnanja z zaposlenimi. Za podjetje je pomembno, da se zaveda vpliva kulture na motivacijo in zadovoljstvo zaposlenih. Kulturo mora vseskozi spremljati ter jo po potrebi oblikovati. Diplomska naloga je razdeljena na dva dela. V prvem teoretičnem delu je predstavljena organizacijska kultura, nanizane so definicije različnih avtorjev, opredeljeni so različni sorodni pojmi, značilnosti, tipologije, spreminjanje, oblikovanje, ohranjanje, merjenje organizacijske kulture ter dejavniki, ki vplivajo na zadovoljstvo zaposlenih in na uspešnost celotne organizacije. V drugem delu je bila izvedena analiza trenutnega stanja organizacijske kulture v izbranem podjetju X in kakšno si zaposleni želijo v bodoče. Analizo smo naredili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika. Uporabili smo metodologijo po Cameronu in Quinnu (OCAI- merjenje organizacijske kulture v podjetju). Na osnovi dobljenih podatkov smo v zaključku diplomske naloge podali še naše ugotovitve ter možne predloge organizaciji za izboljšanje kulture podjetja.

Secondary title: Organizational culture and employee satisfaction in the company X
Secondary abstract: The thesis deals with the organizational culture and employees’ satisfaction in the selected company X. We wanted to find out the most characteristic type of the organizational culture of this company and whether the employees are satisfied with it and what kind of organizational culture would they want in the future. Organizational culture, along with the mission and vision, plays an important role in the formation of the company’s strategies. Employees are interactive, additionally motivated and encouraged to work better, which leads to a company’s success. The organizational culture encompass norms and company values, which show the way employees are treated. It is important for a company to be aware of the impact of culture on motivation and satisfaction of the employees. The culture needs to be constantly observed and transformed if necessary. The thesis is divided into two parts. In the first theoretical part the organizational culture is presented, definitions of different authors are stated and various related concepts are defined together with features, typologies, changes, creation, maintenance, measurement of organizational culture and the factors, which affect employees’ satisfaction and success of the entire organization. In the second part the analysis of the existing condition of organizational culture was conducted in the selected company X, we were also interested in what kind of organizational culture the employees want in the future. The analysis was conducted with the help of survey questionnaire. Methodology according to Cameron and Quinn was used (OCAI – Organizational Culture Assessment Instrument). In the conclusion of the thesis the findings based on the data obtained are presented and recommendations for the company to improve its culture.
