Abstract

V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela najprej predstavimo značilnosti logistike in osnovne pojme, povezane s tem področjem. S pomočjo definicij različnih avtorjev opredelimo razvoj, pomen in cilje logistike, predstavimo elemente logističnega sistema, stroške v logistiki in podsisteme logistike. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela podrobneje predstavimo in analiziramo logistične procese v izbranem podjetju Marines, d. o. o. Pri obravnavi podjetja se omejimo na obdobje med letoma 2009 in 2010, ko je podjetje uspešno poslovalo na trgu. Začnemo s predstavitvijo in z nastankom raziskovanega podjetja ter njegovo dejavnostjo, nato pa opišemo proces nabave standardnega in personaliziranega proizvoda, procese notranje logistike ter distribucijo blaga kupcu v izbranem podjetju. Opišemo tudi poprodajne storitve in pomembnost pretoka informacij v podjetju ter na koncu na primeru prikažemo transportne stroške v proučevanem podjetju.

Secondary abstract:	In the theoretical part of the thesis we first present the characteristics of logistics and basic concepts concerning this field. With the help of definitions of different authors we define the development, importance and goals of logistics and present elements of the logistical system, costs in logistics and logistical subsystems. In the practical part of the thesis we thoroughly present and analyze logistics processes in the selected company Marines Ltd. The analysis of the company is limited to the period 2009–2010, when the company was successful on the market. We begin with the presentation and establishment of the company and its operations and continue with a description of the process of procurement of a standard and personalized product, of inbound logistics processes and distribution of goods to the customer in the selected company. We also describe after sales services and the importance of information flow in the company and finally present the transport costs in the case of the analyzed company.
