Abstract

Zelena streha predstavlja zaključni sloj strešne kritine, ki je zasajena z rastlinami. Z ustreznim strokovnim načrtovanjem in izvedbo zelene strehe pridobimo strešno konstrukcijo s podaljšano življenjsko dobo in atraktivnim izgledom. V moderni dobi gradnje objektov je zasaditev streh z rastlinami pravi odgovor na vprašanja ekologije in na ekonomske izzive prihodnosti. V diplomskem delu so podana praktična izkustvena znanja ter pravilniki in spoznanja stroke, ki so potrebna za ustrezno inženirsko prakso na tem področju. Prikazani so tudi odlični primeri izvedenih projektov v povezavi s teorijo, obravnavano v tem strokovnem delu.

Secondary abstract:	A green roof acts as the final layer of a roof's covering, which is planted with vegetation. Proper expert planningand installation of a green roof provide a structure with anextended life span and attractive looks. In the modern era of building construction, covering roofs with plants seems like the right answer to the ecological issues and economic challenges of the future. The thesis gives an insight into practical experience, as well as rules and expert findings needed for proper engineering practices within this field. With regard to the theoretical part, the thesis also shows some excellent completed projects.
