Abstract
POVZETEK
Tako v Sloveniji kot tudi drugod po svetu je svetovna finančna kriza otežila pridobivanje osnovnega kapitala, kar je danes zelo pogosta ovira, s katero se soočajo mnogi podjetniki in organizacije, ki skušajo zagnati nov posel. Pridobivanje osnovnega kapitala s pomočjo tradicionalnih oblik financiranja prinaša številne težave, ki so pri množičnem financiranju izvzete, in prav zaradi težav pri pridobivanju finančnih sredstev se manjša mlada podjetja v zadnjem času raje poslužujejo množičnih virov financiranja (crowdfunding oziroma »množicanje«) prek spletnih platform. Zbiranje denarnih sredstev prek množičnega financiranja je med slovenskimi podjetniškimi ekipami izjemno priljubljeno. V zadnjih nekaj letih smo tako našteli že več kot 150 slovenskih projektov, ki so skupaj zbrali skoraj 4 milijone dolarjev. Najbolj znana in priljubljena crowdfunding platforma je Kickstarter, ki že od leta 2009 pomaga mladim podjetjem. V tem času je pomagal več kot 100.000 projektom ter pridobil več kot 2 milijardi dolarjev podpore podjetjem v glasbi, filmu in videu, ki jim sledita založništvo in umetnost.
Na začetku diplomske naloge se osredotočamo na prevladujoče oblike financiranja malih in srednje velikih podjetij v Sloveniji, saj predstavljajo večinski delež vseh podjetij tako v Sloveniji kot v Evropski uniji. V nadaljevanju raziščemo značilnosti množičnega financiranja, izvedemo raziskavo uspešnosti projektov množičnega financiranja in podamo napotke za zagon kampanje.

SUMMARY
Both in Slovenia and elsewhere around the world, the global financial crisis has made it more difficult to obtain share capital, a very common problem nowadays, which many businesses and organisations that are trying to start a new business are facing. Acquisition of share capital through traditional forms of financing brings numerous problems, which are in crowdfunding exempt. It is because of these difficulties in obtaining financial assets that small young companies in recent times prefer to make use of crowdfunding via online platforms. Collecting funds through crowdfunding has been very popular among Slovenian entrepreneurial teams. Over the last few years we have listed over 150 Slovene project, which collected in total almost US $ 4 million. Kickstarter is the most famous and the most popular crowdfunding platform, helping young businesses since 2009. During this time it has helped over 100,000 projects and collected over US $ 2 billion support for companies engaged in music, film and video, followed by publishing activities and art.
At the beginning of the thesis we will focus on the predominant form of financing for small and medium-sized enterprises in Slovenia, representing the majority of companies both in Slovenia and the European Union. In continuation we will explore the characteristics of crowdfunding, carry out a research on the performance of crowdfunding projects and issue guidelines for the launch of a campaign. |
