Abstract

Reading Kosovel's poetry in the pre-school period |
Secondary abstract: |
Since the children's poems written by Srečko Kosovel are rarely read in our kindergartens we have decided to research how children respond to his poetry. For this purpose 15 poems from the collection of poems Medvedki sladkosnedki were read to the group of 20 children in the kindergarten. They were 4,5 – 6 years old and most of them had not known any Kosovel's poetry before. By using the descriptive method of observation we found out that the children liked the poems and were highly motivated for interpreting the poems in various ways, by forming new poems, by painting and drawing and by acting. |
