Abstract

Kljub vsej tehniki in elektroniki, katere imamo v današnjem času, branje še vedno predstavlja glavni vir pridobivanja informacij, tako v šoli kot v zasebnem življenju. Branje in razumevanje prebranega imata pomembno vlogo pri pouku slovenščine in tudi pri drugih predmetih, saj največ učenja še vedno poteka s pomočjo besedil oziroma iz besedil. V procesu učenja se od učenca pričakuje, da bo prebrano besedilo razumel, si ga zapomnil in nove informacije znal uporabiti pri reševanju problemov. Za učinkovito branje oziroma učenje s pomočjo branja, pa morajo učenci poznati različne bralne učne strategije. Te jim omogočajo boljše razumevanje prebranega, povezovanje novih informacij z že znanimi in lažjo ter boljšo zapomnitev informacij. Poznavanje različnih bralnih učnih strategij učencem omogoča, da se sami odločijo, katera bralna učna strategija jim pri posameznem besedilu omogoča najlažje razumevanje prebranega in zapomnitev bistvenih informacij. V sklopu diplomskega dela želimo ugotoviti, katere bralne učne strategije uporabljajo učenci 7. razreda izbrane osnovne šole pri branju neumetnostnih besedil. Prav tako želimo preizkusiti dve bralni učni strategiji, katerih še ne poznajo, in sicer Paukovo strategijo in metodo PV3P.

Secondary abstract: Despite of all the technology and electronics that we have nowadays, reading still represents the main source of information, both at school and in personal lives. Reading and reading comprehension play an important role in the Slovenian language and other school subjects, as most learning still takes place with the help of texts or from the texts. In the learning process, the student is expected to read the text with understanding, to remember new information and to be able to use the new information to solve problems. For effective reading and learning through reading, the students need to be familiar with a variety of reading learning strategies. These enable them to improve reading comprehension, integration of new information with already known and easier and better memorization of information. The knowledge of different reading learning strategies enables students to decide for themselves which reading learning strategy, for a given text, enables easier reading comprehension and memorization of essential information. As part of the thesis we want to establish which reading learning strategies are used by pupils of 7th grade in a selected elementary school while reading non art texts. We also want to test two reading learning strategies, which pupils do not know yet, these are Pauk's strategy and method PV3P.
