Abstract

Zdrava prehrana je pomemben dejavnik v našem življenju. Tega se moramo zavedati, saj z zdravo prehrano in zdravim načinom življenja pripomoremo k bolj kakovostnemu življenju. Pomembno je, da se začnemo o zdravi prehrani pogovarjati že v otroštvu, saj si s tem privzgojimo prehrambne navade, kar se odraža vse življenje. Diplomsko delo "Kaj jedo in kaj vejo o zdravi prehrani učenci Osnovne šole Prevalje" je sestavljeno iz dveh delov: iz teoretičnega in empiričnega. V teoretičnem delu je podrobneje opisan zdrav način življenja; dejavniki, ki pripomorejo k bolj kakovostnemu načinu življenja. Poudarek je na zdravi prehrani, načelih zdrave prehrane in njenih sestavinah. Podana je tudi analiza jedilnikov izbrane osnovne šole z vidika zdrave prehrane. Na podlagi te je ugotovljeno, da je učencem ponujena pestra, zdrava hrana.Občasno je sicer na jedilniku manj zdrava hrana, kar je posledica učenčevih želja. Manj sladek čaj bi lahko zamenjali z nesladkanim. Pohvalno je, da ima učenec pri kosilu izbiro - postreže si lahko z vodo ali čajem. V empiričnem delu so podani rezultati raziskave, v katero so bili vključeni učenci petega, sedmega in devetega razreda Osnovne šole Prevalje (N = 143). Ugotovljeno je, da učenci veliko vedo o zdravi prehrani, sodelujejo pri projektih, a v veliki večini se ne prehranjujejo zdravo. Prevečkrat posežejo po hitri hrani. Večina učencev bi lahko povečala tudi količino popite tekočine.

Secondary abstract: Healthy diet is an important factor of our lives. It is something we should be aware of, as both healthy food and healthy lifestyle contribute to a quality life. It is important, to start talking about healthy diet from the childhood on since thereby important eating habits, which reflect through whole life, are gained. The thesis "What the Pupils of the Primary School Prevalje Eat and What They Know About Healthy Food" is consisted of two parts: from the theoretical and the empirical. The theoretical part closely describes a healthy lifestyle and factors that contribute to a more quality lifestyle. The emphasis is on healthy lifestyle, principles of healthy nutrition and its ingredients. An analysis of menus from the selected primary school from the aspect of healthy nutrition is given. Based on this analysis, it is proven that pupils are offered a varied, healthy food. Occasionally, a less healthy food appears on the school menu, which is a result of pupils wishes. A less sweet tea could be replaced with unsweetened. It is commendable that pupil have a choice at lunchtime - they can choose either water or tea. The results of the research are given in the empirical part of the thesis in which pupils of fifth, seventh and ninth grade of Elementary school Prevalje were included (N = 143). It is found out that pupils have a lot of knowledge about healthy diet, they participate in projects related to this topic, but the vast majority of cases eat unhealthy food. Too often they resort to fast food. Most pupils could also increase the amount of fluids to drink.
