Abstract

V tem magistrskem delu je predstavljen pojav delnih praznitev. Obravnava je osredotočena predvsem na pojav delnih praznitev znotraj srednjenapetostnih podpornih izolatorjev. Predstavljeno je fizikalno ozadje delnih praznitev in fizikalno ozadje preboja v plinu. Opisane so lastnosti dielektričnih materialov. Z metodo končnih elementov je bil izdelan 2D model podpornega izolatorja in nekaj primerov zračnih votlinic znotraj dielektrika. Izvedena je bila analiza vpliva votlinic na delne praznitve v izolatorju.

Secondary abstract: In this master thesis partial discharges and its effect on electric field is presented. Physical background of partial discharges and electrical breakdown of air is described. Work is focused on partial discharges inside of switchgear insulators. Characteristics of various types of dielectrics are also described. A computer model of a medium voltage insulator, using finite element method is used to analyze the connection of partial discharges with electrical field.
