Abstract

Naloga je nadgrajena še z empiričnim delom oz. analizo in rezultati raziskave stanja motiviranosti in zadovoljstva zaposlenih v javnem zavodu Lekarna Slovenska Bistrica.

Secondary abstract: Nowadays, the global as well as Slovenian market requires constant adaptation and innovation at a rate faster than ever in human history. Solely reducing costs in the long run, cannot guarantee long-term success or competitive edge of business enterprises or public institutions. Success without motivated and content employees it is virtually impossible. If we want to achieve that, we need to reconsider the systems of financial and non-financial incentives, as well as to monitor and measure employee’s motivation and occupational satisfaction respectively. The present thesis in its theoretical part analyzes the basic concepts of motivation and occupational satisfaction, as to, how motivational factors or demotivational factors affect employee satisfaction. The theoretical part is upgraded with empirical work or research analysis on the state of motivation and occupational satisfaction of employees in the public institution Lekarna Slovenska Bistrica. The results have shown relatively high motivational state and high occupational satisfaction in employees in the discussed institution. The research is rounded with our suggestions for improvement.
