Abstract

Naloga opisuje način meritve izotopa N16 na glavnem parovodu Nuklearne elektrarne Krško. Z meritvijo tega izotopa, monitor N16 prikazuje morebitno puščanje iz primarnega sistema na sekundarno stran. V uvodnem delu je opisana teorija sevanja, načini detekcij in tipi detektorjev. V nadaljevanju sledi opis delovanja monitorja za detekcijo izotopa N16 na podlagi analogne tehnologije. Jedro diplome zajema nov tip N16 monitorja, ki temelji na digitalni tehnologiji. V zaključku so prikazani izračuni parametrov, ki služijo za vhodne podatke monitorju pri računanju puščanja uparjalnikov.

Secondary abstract: The task describes the method of measuring isotope N16 on main steam line Nuclear power plant Krško. With measuring this isotope, monitor N16 shows potential leak from primary to secondary system. In the introductory part is described the theory of radiation, the detection methods and types of detectors. The following is a description of the monitor for the detection of the isotope N16 based on analog technology. The core of the diploma covers a new type of monitor N16, which is based on digital technology. The conclusion shows the calculation of parameters, which are the input for N16 monitor to calculate the leak rate of steam generator.
