Abstract

Diplomsko delo Primerjava montessori in waldorfske pedagogike je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Teoretičen del vsebuje opis značilnosti montessori in waldorfske pedagogike. V njem sta omenjena Maria Montessori, začetnica pedagogike montessori, in Rudolf Steiner, začetnik waldorfske pedagogike. Tu najdemo podatke, kdaj sta se pedagogiki pojavili v svetu in kdaj v Sloveniji. V tem delu sem izpostavila kriterije, s katerimi sem primerjala montessori pedagogiko in waldorfsko pedagogiko med seboj. Z uporabo teh kriterijev sem poskušala objektivno primerjati montessori in waldorfsko pedagogiko tako, da bi na podlagi ugotovitev lahko razbrali razlike in podobnosti med tema dvema pedagogikama. V empiričnem delu naloge sem uporabila opisne oziroma deskriptivne metode raziskovanja. Izvedla sem raziskavo, v kateri sem povprašala pedagoge o njihovih izkušnjah pri poučevanju po načelih montessori in waldorfske pedagogike. S tem sem želela ugotoviti, kako se pedagoška načela teh dveh pedagogik pokažejo v praksi. Izvedla sem raziskavo tudi o tem, kakšne izkušnje in mnenja imajo starši otrok, katerih otroci obiskujejo osnovne šole, ki poučujejo po načelih waldorfske in montessori pedagogike. Svoje ugotovitve sem analizirala in predstavila.

Secondary abstract: The thesis Comparison of montessori and waldorf pedagogies consists of a theoretical part and an empirical part. The theoretical part includes a description of montessori and waldorf pedagogies. It deals with Maria Montessori, the founder of the montessori pedagogy, and Rudolf Steiner, the founder of waldorf education pedagogy. It also includes the timeframe of the first appearance of the two pedagogical approaches worldwide and in Slovenia. In this part I exposed the criteria I used to compare montessori pedagogy and waldorf pedagogy. Using the criteria I tried to objectively compare montessori and waldorf pedagogies in order to use the results to show the differences and similarities between the two. In the empirical part I used descriptive research methods. I conducted a research in which I collected pedagogues' experience in teaching following the principles of montessori or waldorf pedagogy. Using this method I tried to find out how the pedagogical principles of these two pedagogies result in real life. I also conducted a research between parents of children in primary schools following montessori or waldorf pedagogies on their experience and opinion regarding the two approaches. In the end I analyzed and presented my conclusions.
