Abstract

V magistrskem delu je predstavljen sistem 2 + 1 cest. Ponuja alternativo prečnemu profilu dvopasovnih cest. Je vrsta prečnega profila ceste s tremi pasovi (po en vozni pas v vsako smer + dodatni prehitevalni pas z izmenjujočo se smerjo vožnje vzdolž trase). V delu so izpostavljene izkušnje izbranih evropskih držav s sistemom 2 + 1 cest, med katerimi prednjači Švedska. Oblikovali smo predlog sistema, primernega za slovensko cestno omrežje. Ta temelji na izkušnjah iz tujine ter lokalnih lastnostih cestnega omrežja ter prostorskih omejitvah. Oblikovanje elementov je potekalo na osnovi realnih okoliščin na dveh glavnih cestah. Skozi proces dela smo določili dimenzije elementov prečnega profila ceste in oblikovali detajle vseh predvidenih prehodnih območij. Opisali smo prehode na in z 2 + 1 ter prehode znotraj odseka 2 + 1. Preverili smo primernost trase po odsekih. Rezultati so poleg opisnega dela (dolžina odseka, stran širitve ceste) prikazani še grafično.

Secondary abstract: The thesis presents a system of 2 + 1 roads. It offers an alternative to cross-section of the two-lane roads. It is a type of cross-section with three lanes (one lane in each direction + additional alternating passing lane). Furthermore experiences with 2 + 1 roads from various European countries are introduced. Also a proposal for a system suitable for the Slovenian road network has been designed. It is based on the experience from abroad and the local characteristics of the road network and spatial restrictions. Design elements were done on the basis of real circumstances on the two main roads. Through the process of work we determined the dimensions of the elements of the cross-section. All the details provided for transitional areas were formed (transitions to/from the 2 + 1 and transitions within sections). The appropriateness of the route segment is checked. The results are displayed descriptively (length of the section, side expansion of the road) and graphically.
