Abstract

Maribor je mesto z bogato zgodovino in bogato kulturno dediščino. Vendar potencial mesta še ni povsem izkoriščen. V mestu še marsikatera območja niso bila deležna arheoloških izkopavanj in, posledično, so nam ostanki prejšnjih dob še vedno precej nepoznani. Eden takšnih biserov so tudi temelji Graških mestnih vrat, ki so obravnavana v tej nalogi. Projektna naloga vsebuje analize, ki ovrednotijo in osmislijo podzemno prezentacijo. Na podlagi analiz so nastali načrti za podzemno prezentacijo. Program dopolnjuje paviljon, ki bi bil namenjen predstavitvi nekdanjega obzidja, prav tako pa bi služil kot turistično informacijska točka. Prezentacija in paviljon sta zasnovana kot javna objekta, saj je njun namen vzpodbuditi zanimanje za nekdanje obzidje in približati zgodovino mesta in grajeno dediščino širši javnosti.

Secondary abstract:	Maribor is a city rich in history and cultural heritage. However, the potential of the city is not yet fully exploited. Numerous areas in the city have not been part of archaeological excavations and consequently the remains of these previous periods are still quite unknown. One such pearl are the remains of the Urban Graz doors that are addressed in this task. The project work contains analyzes which evaluate the current state and form a solution which offers plans for the underground presentation.The program is complemented by a pavilion, which is dedicated to the former city walls, but would also serve as a tourist information point. The presentation and pavilion are designed as public facilities, the aim being to encourage an interest in the former city walls and bring the history of the city and builtt heritage closer to the general public.
