Abstract

Magistrsko delo obravnava kompleksne dinamične sisteme, ki so sestavni del našega življenja in zahtevajo od vsakega posameznika njihovo čim boljše razumevanje. V okviru izvedenih raziskav smo obravnavali problematiko človekovega dojemanja relacije nivo — tok, ki se izkaže kot zahteven koncept za razumevanje že v enostavnih dinamičnih sistemih. Namen naloge je raziskati uspešnost pristopa razlage dinamičnih pojavov s pomočjo hidravlične metafore kot metode za poučevanje dinamičnih sistemov na področju kinematike. Preverili smo, če predhodna obravnava učne snovi poveča možnost za napredek v učnem procesu. Postavili smo hipotezo, da dijakom predstavlja večjo težavo grafičen prikaz situacije kot besedni. Z anketo smo preverili znanje pred in po obravnavi dinamičnih sistemov s pomočjo principa hidravlične metafore. Princip razlage s pomočjo hidravlične metafore je bil prikazan v razredu eksperimentalno, s pritokom in odtokom ter stanjem. Pridobljeno znanje so dijaki utrdili tudi z aplikacijo, ki je bila izdelana v ta namen. Rezultati naloge so pokazali, da modeli sistemske dinamike pri poučevanju kinematike pripomorejo k boljšemu razumevanju enostavnih dinamičnih sistemov.

Secondary title: System dynamics models for improving understanding of dynamic systems in educational process
Secondary abstract: Complex dynamic systems are part of our everyday life and they require our good understanding. Various researches and experiments show us a poor understanding of stocks and flows even in simple dynamic systems. For better understanding of dynamic systems in kinematics a model of hydraulic metaphor and its effect in educational process was researched. It was investigated if giving a lesson prior to a test improves students’ ability of understanding such systems. A hypothesis, that presenting the data in textual form will improve performance compared to graphical, was set. The task was performed by giving the students a questionnaire before and after the lessons of kinematics. The hydraulic metaphor was experimentally presented to the students on the case of a bath tub with inflow, outflow and stock. The acquired knowledge has been supported by a software application developed for this particular case. The paper shows a better performance of education process and a better understanding of simple dynamic systems by using a system dynamics way.
