Abstract

V diplomskem delu smo predstavili potek projekta vzpostavitve Windows omrežne domene v podjetju. V prvem delu smo predstavili teoretične osnove Microsoft Windows operacijskega sistema, razlike med domeno in delovno skupino ter podrobneje pogledali ključne gradnike domene. Izdelali smo posnetek trenutnega stanja in pripravili načrt novega. V testnem okolju smo pripravili vse potrebno za delovanje domene, vzpostavili identično stanje in s tem dobili vpogled v novi produkcijski sistem. Na podlagi uspešnih testov delovanja programov in storitev smo lahko začeli z integracijo v delovno okolje.

Secondary abstract: The diploma thesis presents the project’s timetable for implementing a Windows domain in a corporate network. The first part introduces the theoretical bases of the Microsoft Windows operating system, the differences between the domain and a workgroup and a detailed look at the key parts of the domain. We have created a snapshot of the current state and prepared a new plan. In test environment we have prepared all necessary for the domain to function, established identical system state, and thereby got an insight into the new production system. Based on successful tests of applications and services, we began to integrate the domain into live environment.
