Abstract

V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen razvoj predvajalnika vsebin digitalnega sporočanja, temelječega na brskalniku, ki je realno-časovno povezan z osrednjim strežnikom. V začetku govorimo o naravi vsebin in različni terminologiji. Predstavimo koncept podajanja vsebin Adin DS, ki nam bo služil kot vodilo za razvoj predvajalnika. Nadaljujemo z definicijo komponent, komunikacije in spletnega brskalnika kot osrednje medijske predvajalne aplikacije z njenimi znanimi prednostmi in slabosti. V zadnjem delu podamo uporabo komponent in tehnike pri razvoju predvajalne naprave Adin Device. V zaključku podamo ugotovitve in možne izboljšave na področju datotečne zaščite sistema, prenosu vsebine ter načina predvajanja video vsebine, ki bo sledil zadanim izhodiščem.

Secondary abstract: Presented in the thesis is the development of digital signage player, based on web browser which is real-time connected to the central server. At the beginning we talk about nature and terminology of the content. We introduce the Adin DS concept of serving content. This concept will guide us to develop a digital signage player. We continue with description of components, communication and web browser as a central media player application with all known faults and benefits. We further describe usage of components and techniques to develop a media signage player called AdinDevice. At very end, we draw conclusions and possible improvements in fields like file-system security, content distribution and a way to play video content as desired.
