Abstract

Sistem vojaškega izobraževanja in usposabljanja obsega osnovo in dopolnilno vojaško izobraževanje in usposabljanje.

Secondary title: MANAGEMENT AND TRAINING IN THE SLOVENIAN ARMED FORCES
Secondary abstract: In the field of management the head manager has an important role in the organization, he must have the ability to influence, stimulate and direct employees to set goals. His work includes planning and controlling the workflow, sharing guidance and informations, organization and management of staff in performing the required tasks, and stimulating them to be motivated at their work, which is a crucial part of the successful work completion. A very important function is also controlling, if conflicts occur, he should be able to prevent or solve them. We could define that management is an ability to encourage and prepare people to reach their goals. Responsibilities of the commander are settled into a perfect hierarchy. Under the jurisdiction for leading and commanding in a military unit the commander has the right to order, delegate, to accept and mediate decisions and order punishment for unfinished work. He has a complex responsibility for his units and its individuals. The system of military education and training includes basic and supplementary military education and training. It provides a planned and systematic preparation for starting duties in the military profession, upgrading and training of military units to carry out tasks (Kladnik, 2006). Anyone who wishes to carry out a certain task must be trained appropriately. If the work system in the organization changes or if the job stand changes, an employee normally conducts additional training. The training process that takes place in several stages starts with an analysis of the work process, which follows the layout and definition of goals, which have to be achieved. Achieving them requires certain knowledge, skills, habits and training. Education and training of the Slovenian military force is based on theoretical and practical knowledge and skills. For the organization, it is essential how the leader directs the work process. In addition to responsibility for all the assets and personnel, his important task in the operation system of organization is the involvement of employees in an appropriate program of education and training. Knowledge, abilities and skills of members of the Slovenian Armed Forces help to achieve the set goals.
