magistrsko delo Organizacija in management poslovnih in delovnih sistemov
Abstract

IMPACT OF CHANGING THE STRATEGY OF THE COMPANY TO THE STRATEGY OF INFORMATION SUPPORT PROCESSES IN SMES |
Secondary abstract: |
This Master’s thesis investigates how the changes made to the company’s strategy influence the information support strategy for processes in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
In the global business environment, small and medium-sized enterprises have to continually adapt their work and business processes to be able to compete globally and survive on the market.
If enterprises wish to achieve this goal, they have to not only reorganise but also consider introducing an information system that can keep pace with ongoing changes in work processes in small enterprises, which are extremely exposed to the global market.
For an efficient introduction of the ERP-systems and information support to various processes in small and medium-sized enterprises, a methodology should be determined that minutely defines the key processes which enable a company to achieve its goals and survive in the business world. The research was based on a case study of a SME specialised in the production and management of renewable energy-based electricity. |
