Abstract

V diplomskem delu sem zanimanje posvetil predvsem risbi in v njem predstavil postopen razvoj risbe skozi zgodovino likovne umetnosti. V obširnejšem teoretičnem delu diplome je opisan pojem risbe, njene zvrsti, risarske prvine, tehnike in risalna sredstva, saj so umetniki z različnimi kombinacijami teh likovnih elementov oz. prvin skozi zgodovino razvili zelo široko paleto izraznih možnosti v različnih zvrsteh risbe.

Secondary title: THE STEPS TOWARDS THE CONTEMPORARY ART DRAWING
Secondary abstract: In the diploma work I directed the focus towards the drawing and presented the gradual developments of drawings through the history of art. As a whole the work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. In the broader theoretical part we find the concept of the drawing as a definition, its variations, techniques and drawing tools. The artists throughout history have developed a very broad pallet of drawing techniques through different combinations and artistic elements. As the characteristics of the drawing also depend on the technique and the drawing resources which are used in the development of the created artwork these are also closely described in this part of the dissertation. The text moves on to important historical periods of art in terms of the drawing. Drawing qualities and historical characteristics are presented through the well known works of important authors from the beginnings to the modern day. Due to the different approaches of individual artists the drawings are divided mostly into drafts and drawings as complete wholes. It is also debated how important the drafts are for the final artwork quality and when the drawing reaches its complete wholeness, mostly in contemporary drawings. To conclude the third practical part of the paper describes my own practical works in relations to the contemporary drawing which were created throughout the school years. They are presented in the form of artistic events where the drawing is the basic element and foundation of the installation message. In the final event titled ''Colourfulness of the city'' I wanted to point out that the drawing is always present in everyday life, which is also the conclusion of the diploma work.
