Abstract

Oskrbno verigo sestavljajo dobavitelji, proizvajalci, distribucijski kanali in kupci. Management oskrbnih verig obsega upravljanje aktivnosti in procesov znotraj oskrbne verige, cilj pa je zagotavljanje zadovoljstva kupcev. Management oz. upravljanje oskrbne verige z uporabo sistema Microsoft Dynamics NAV pokriva področja prodaje, cenovne politike, nabave, obvladovanja zalog in upravljanja skladišča.

Secondary title: Supply chain management in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015
Secondary abstract: Most companies today cannot imagine their business without an ERP system, which provides comprehensive support in operations within all business areas. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is considered one of the best-selling ERP systems. It is primarily intended for small and medium sized enterprises, but on the Slovenian scale this includes also large companies. The design of the system is quite open, which allows comprehensive and simple adjustments of the system, according to specific user requirements. Supply chain is the core business process of the company. Its purpose is to create or deliver a product or service to the customer, including design and production. The supply chain is composed of suppliers, manufacturers, distribution channels and customers. Supply chain management encompasses the management activities and processes within the supply chain, while its objective is ensuring customer satisfaction. Supply chain management using Microsoft Dynamics NAV includes sales, pricing policy, purchasing, inventory and warehouse management. The system design is based on the parameters of inventory re-ordering and actual and expected demands of the customers. The aim of the planning system is to maintain an optimal inventory. The planning parameters are defined for each item separately. Microsoft Dynamics NAV offers a significant number of features, which contribute to a better supply chain management. The use of ERP system affects the supply chain management. ERP systems improve the oversight of company operations, enable the automation of procurement, etc. To evaluate the impact of ERP systems on the supply chain management we have analyzed a study performed on Taiwanese IT companies.
