Abstract

Diplomsko delo Ilustracija in slikanica poleg teorije in krajšega pregleda razvoja slovenske knjižne ilustracije predstavi tudi avtorsko slikanico z naslovom Rdeča kapica in podroben opis vseh faz nastajanja slikanice. Diplomsko delo v obsegu teoretičnega dela zajema slovensko knjižno ilustracijo, njen razvoj in sporočilo ter razčlembo slikanice. Predstavljene so tudi likovne tehnike, ki so uporabljene pri izdelavi avtorske slikanice, in nekaj slovenskih ilustratork s svojimi ilustracijami. Diplomsko delo v sklopu praktičnega dela prikazuje tudi podroben opis in razlago postopkov izdelave avtorske slikanice.

Secondary abstract:	In my diploma thesis titled "Illustration and Picture Book", in addition to theory and a brief overview of the development of Slovenian book illustrations, I present my original picture book titled Little Red Riding Hood and a detailed description of how the pictures were created in each phase. The theoretical part of my diploma thesis presents Slovenian book illustration, its development and message, as well as an analysis of picture books. I also present the artistic techniques that were used in the creation of the original picture book, as well as a selection of Slovenian illustrators and their illustrations. The empirical part of my diploma thesis comprises a detailed description and explanation of techniques used to create the picture book.
