diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študija

Abstract

Za diplomsko delo sem si izbral zelo aktualno temo, in sicer konflikt med Rusijo in Ukrajino zaradi polotoka Krim.

Secondary title: THE CONFLICT BETWEEN RUSSIA AND UKRAINE FOR THE CRIMEAN PENINSULA
Secondary abstract: For my bachelors work i picked a very actual topic called The conflict between Russia and Ukraine for Crimea peninsula. I picked this one because a lot is going on there and it is still pretty much active problem. For my bachelors work getting sources was very easy because there are a lot of them on the internet. So the first step was gettin as much articles as possible from different sources. What i did in my work was analize the actions that took place on this area of conflict and alo analize the history of are. And there was one more thing i anlized in my bachelors work and that was the actions NATO took to try and save the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. To analize all mentioned problems i used the same principle which is finding as much articles as possible and then translating them in to slovenian language because most of them were in english language, and when i did that i put them in a cronological order for easier reading and better understanding. In my bachelors work i found out a lot about the history of this area, but the most most crucial thing i found out analizing history was that Russia actually gave Crimea to Ukraine when they were both part of the Soviet Union. When analizing the current situation on this area i came to conclusion that is obvious Russians and the fans of their ideology wants a lot more than just Crimea, they are after whole eastren Ukraine. When it comes to NATO i found out that despite Russian military activity on this area they are still looking for peaceful and diplomatic solutions. Well what i have read i suggest that NATO in order to end this problem needs to act more and talk less. I belive that they need to put more work in the field and put some presure on Russia. But in order to completly understand the problem and to give ideas for solutions we have to listen to both sides not just European but also Russian.
