Abstract

V empiričnem delu sem analiziral 48 slovenskih podjetij z vidika uporabe e-poslovanja in s primerjavo z ostalimi raziskavami poskušal izluščiti trend uporabe različnih rešitev. Prav tako sem želel izvedeti, ali so uporabljene informacijske rešitve prinesle kakršne koli koristi slovenskim podjetjem.

Secondary abstract: Modern business environment requires companies to respond more quickly to demand, changes and competition. Electronic commerce is becoming an indispensable part of every business because it provides a range of benefits. Initially, these benefits are reflected in streamlined business processes, faster circulation of information, but later it may also lead to financial and other benefits. In this thesis, I wanted to explore the extent to which Slovenian companies use e-commerce to achieve its objectives. First of all, I analysed of existing literature on the topic of e-commerce and supply chains, where I tried to gain as much information regarding the history of e-commerce, how it affects the business and how companies are electronically linked within its supply chains, and what solutions exist on the market. In the empirical part I have analysed 48 Slovenian companies from the perspective of use of e-commerce and compared it with other studies, where I tried to discern the trend of using different solutions. I also wanted to find out whether the applied IT solutions brought any benefits to Slovenian companies analysed in this thesis.
